Introduction

I focus on analyzing sales data from a data warehouse or data mart in this chapter. Most of the analysis procedures described in earlier chapters for survey analysis can be applied here: dynamic graphing and tabulations, correspondence analysis, and hypothesis testing as some examples. This chapter differs from the others by focusing on regression modeling, primarily on a theoretical basis for a model, data analysis, estimation, and interpretation.
