8.1 Introduction
SACS software is the most famous offshore structure analysis software on the market with SESAM and USFOS. Staad and SAP2000 are used to implement the offshore module. Note that USFOS is used mainly in pushover analysis.
As SACS is the most traditional software, this chapter illustrates using this software step by step. This is not an easy software to start using, so you should have strong theoretical background from the previous chapters.
