Types and size

If you want to show a numeric value in addition to the unique values set up, you would use the types and size option in your web map. For example, if you want to show the total population for each county in the United States and have each symbol colored by the state name to help differentiate larger proportional symbols that may grow beyond the state line, you would choose two attributes to show: state name and population. When you do this, smart mapping will give you only one option to symbolize your data: types and size. This option is essentially two styles grouped together—Types (Unique Symbols) and Counts and Amounts (Size), which are just proportional symbols.
