Area symbols

Symbolizing area features might seem fairly basic, but there are some things we can do to customize them as well:

  1. Turn on the Historic Districts layer, right-click it, and select Zoom To Layer.
  2. Click the symbol in the Contents pane to launch the Properties settings in the Symbology pane.
  3. Change the Solid fill layer to a Hatched fill, and set the Color to Cocoa Brown. Click Apply:
