Chapter 15. Mapping Law

Is Greenland really bigger than South America? Look at a map. Then look at a globe. Then visit. It is all about perspective. The United States has a law that decrees banks must capture and report customer information. The UK has a law that says you must not capture or report customer information without specific customer authorization. So, whose law do you break? That, too, is all about perspective. Time to get a new map—one that impacts both your legal team and your technology group.
