The Mapstraction library makes it easy to create maps that work with any provider. This appendix provides details of Mapstraction's many classes and functions. Use it as a reference as you develop your own maps.

This appendix is organized by Mapstraction class—the way the library itself is separated. Within each class, I've covered its constructor, other functions, and any class variables. The classes include:

  • mxn.Mapstraction, the main class used to create and control the map

  • mxn.BoundingBox, used to describe rectangular areas (bounds)
