OEE Effectiveness

This chapter describes the manufacturing management practice of Operational Equipment Efficiency (OEE). OEE involves the process of monitoring the availability, performance, and quality of manufacturing equipment and/or facilities. Performance of the operation to each of the three components to planned levels gives managers information about where and how management decisions should be focused to improve productivity and profitability.
