The Four Quadrants

Let’s look at the model of when you need to do something, either now or later.  Thehorizontal would be how valuable is it, using Pareto: that is, what is the value, the impact, and the profitability of this particular activity?  There are some things that have to be done tomorrow.  In other words, they are due.  There is a deadline.  "If I don’t turn this in tomorrow, I could be fired."  That’s what I’m talking about for this type of task.  It's very important and valuable in your work.  This would be the Quadrant of Focus, a.k.a. Quadrant 1.
