Knowing when and how to act might be blatantly obvious, or not the least bit intuitive. As you become more familiar with your team members, it gets easier to spot when there is an issue. It also becomes easier to know how to address it. Generally, most managers wait too long before taking action. Let’s face it, dealing with conflict is not a lot of fun. If team members are hostile, they can be difficult to deal with. If the conflict involves you, it is even more difficult to broach the subject and to jump in quickly to resolve it.
