Team Meetings

The virtual team should have regularly scheduled meetings. Ideally, these meetings will be held at least once a week. Most of your meetings will be virtual, or a combination of virtual and local if you are a hybrid team. You should plan a local team meeting if the team members are going to be in the same location for any period of time.

From time to time, it is nice for the team to discuss a few ad hoc topics during the team meeting. These might be related or unrelated to current work. Allowing conversation during the meeting to meander for a while can be beneficial to team building, as long as it doesn’t cause the meeting to deviate too far from the agenda.
