Keep at It

It would be easy to tell you to go forth and change the world, but I realize that's easier said than done. Old habits (the thinking or the behaving kind) do die hard, and rarely on their own. You have to make a conscious effort to kill them. Learning and experimentation are the only way I know of to do that. You have to replace bad habits with good ones, and that requires the first step, no matter how small and tentative. Change isn't easy, but it can be rewarding. If software development managers begin tomorrow, the world could be very different in a year or two.
