Dim Bulbs

In a sense, you and I will be ignorant forever. I don't mean that in a flippant way. I mean that our knowledge is limited, and probably will be forever. We can increase our knowledge and understanding to a point, but there's a practical limit. We can't know everything. That means we can't anticipate everything. And that means we can't act with absolute intelligence right now.

This is true whenever the agents in a CAS are people. We can't predict accurately very far in advance because in the software world, we should have learned this lesson by now. Somebody once asked J.
