DISASTERS HAPPEN. You can't prevent them. The best you can do is prepare for them. A disaster recovery plan (DRP) helps organizations prepare for disasters. When they strike, the DRP mitigates the short-term and long-term damage.

When developing a DRP, there are several factors to consider that are critical to its success. This includes elements that must be provided by management. It includes what the DRP developers need.
