EPILOGUE

In the Prologue, I described the path I traveled to get to the point where it seemed important—if not urgent—to write this book. I wanted to focus a brighter spotlight on Product Management to give this function greater recognition and respect.

However, as many other authors have also found, what was in my mind’s eye when I started out was not exactly what ended up in the finished product. One thought leads to another. A continuous stream of data inspires new thoughts. Revisions become the norm. As I reviewed what I wrote, reread, and rewrote, the book became an “addiction.” I didn’t want the process to end.
