RESOLVING PROBLEMS AS ESCALATED BY THE PRODUCT TEAMS

Another area of responsibility of the board is to address and resolve problems that are escalated from the product teams. In order to achieve this stature, the rules for escalation must be established so that the product team members know the conditions under which escalation is warranted. Usually some kind of external event, project jeopardy, or customer issue will require a leadership team intervention.
