Christopher Alberts

Christopher Alberts is a senior member of the technical staff in the Networked Systems Survivability Program at the Software Engineering Institute (SEI). He is responsible for developing information security risk management methods, tools, and techniques. Alberts is currently the team leader for OCTAVESM, a risk assessment technique designed for self-directed use by organizations. Prior to his work in networked systems security, Alberts focused on developing techniques to advance the practice of risk management for software development projects.

Before joining the SEI, Alberts was a scientist at Carnegie Mellon Research Institute, where he developed mobile robots for hazardous environments. He also worked at AT&T Bell Laboratories, ...
