This is the first management book published about Hispanics in the workplace since the election of Barack Obama, who, in his first news conference after being elected, referred to himself as a “mutt.”4 After centuries of vilification, “miscegenation” has been accepted on the public stage of American life. The ascendance of Hispanics, Latinos, and Latins is as fraught with emotion as it is sweeping in scope.
