MIKE BEER is Cahners-Rabb Professor of Business Administration, Emeritus, at the Harvard Business School, where he still teaches in the areas of organizational effectiveness, human resource management, and organizational change. Prior to joining the Harvard faculty, he was Director of Organization Research and Development at Corning, Inc., where he was responsible for stimulating a number of innovations in management. He has authored or coauthored several books and articles.
