About the Authors

Ken Lloyd, PhD (Encino, CA), is a nationally recognized consultant, author, and newspaper columnist with specialties in organizational behavior, communications, and management development. His frequent television and talk-radio guest spots have included Good Morning America, CNN, and Morning Edition on NPR. Dr. Lloyd has taught several courses in the MBA Program at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, and he continues to lecture at various universities and speak before numerous organizations and associations. He is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

Christina Tangora Schlachter, PhD, is the author of Critical Conversations For Dummies and co-author of Are You Ready for the Top Job? Practical Advice for Getting the Executive Promotion You Deserve. As Managing Partner of She Leads, she has coached thousands of emerging leaders and senior executives on how to master the art of leading meaningful change in the workplace. She is a certified Master Black Belt in Six Sigma, lectures at Colorado State University's Executive Education program, and is a Fellow with the Fielding Institute for Social Innovation.
