Abstract

This chapter discusses the ways managers of collections in academic libraries engage their spaces and services. There is always a great deal of work to be done to handle resources in academic libraries, and libraries have adapted their routines to accommodate eresources. Even experienced libraries often decide upon creating and maintaining the resources that require server space. Different methods of collection development are presented and the role of managers and administrators is discussed.
