In early January every year, Verizon Wireless held meetings at work locations throughout the country to introduce the goals for the new year, to discuss new market strategies and programs, and to generally get employees refocused on the Four Fundamentals. These “kickoff” meetings, as we called them, were also an opportunity to celebrate successes from the prior year and candidly discuss how we could improve the business going forward.
