“This was their finest hour,” Churchill thundered when Britain faced its darkest and deepest crisis. And that is how to think of crises: they are the finest hours for any manager. They are the moments when the good are separated from the weak, when you learn and grow the most. They are the times you live life with the record button on; where most of life is lived in drab shades of monochrome, in crises life happens in full and glorious Technicolor. After the crisis is over, you are left with tales to recount.
