Agricultural practices management is an area of significant research into best practices and environmental stewardship. Management of agriculture is important for sustainable practices as well as maintenance of the environment. The continual ability to conduct agriculture on local land is directly tied to good management practice (McLaughlin and Mineau 1995). Agriculture is inherently harsh on the environment. Tillage, drainage, grazing, and usage of pesticides and fertilizers can all have significant effects on flora and fauna.
