Chapter 6Collaborate on the Portfolio

Making portfolio decisions is never a single person’s problem.

To make the hard decisions about the portfolio, you need to work with other people, no matter what level you are in the organization. Since you can’t make the decisions about the portfolio alone, you’ll need to collaborate across the organization. When I talk about collaboration, I do mean the Webster’s definition:

Collaborate:

to work jointly with others or together especially in an intellectual endeavor
