I thank Fred Nothnagel, who runs Wednesday is Networking Day, a networking group for job-seekers in the Boston area, for my first opportunity to speak about this topic. When we spoke in advance of the meeting, he suggested I title my talk “Get Your Next Job the Agile Way.”

Well, that started my wheels turning. By the time I’d finished preparing for the talk, I’d outlined this book in my head, and tested it with the 20 or so people at the meeting. They had several “aha” moments.
