Strategy does not implement itself.

As you will have noted by now, the overwhelming view from our CEOs is that rubber hits the road when strategy meets execution. This is where the boys (girls) are sorted from the men (women). Unless the whole company is mobilized then full, single-minded and timely implementation of strategy is unlikely. Indeed if the team is not all pulling (or pushing) in the same direction then it is likely that some will be pulling (or pushing) in the opposite direction with the likelihood that little progress will be made. ...
