Barbara Carnes has been a trainer for more than 30 years, first as a corporate trainer for Sprint North Supply and later as a trainer and external consultant for Carnes and Associates, the company she founded in 1982. She holds a PhD in human and organizational systems from The Fielding Institute, where she penned her 1993 dissertation, "Training Transfer: An Exploration of the Factors Which Account for Behavior Change Following a Training Program."
