One Saturday when I was working for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the announcers for the game being played the next day wandered into the training room where I was hanging out. One of the announcers, Sam Wyche, who previously was head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, wanted to talk with a Steelers player who played for him in Tampa. The player, Courtney Hawkins, was being treated for an injury, so Wyche and I had some time on our hands to talk.
