It wasn’t easy for me, but I’m really glad I put in the time and effort, because being depressed sucks. I know. I spent the first half of my life there. As an attempt to numb my pain, I sat in front of a TV during most of my waking hours. I was a total geek, so I also spent lots of time working on solo geeky projects and learning electronics. These activities further fueled being bullied at school, made me more depressed, and I withdrew into TV and geeky projects even more when I got home. I blamed myself for all this. Sigh.
