The next marketing principle we should apply is testing.

Consider Cadbury. Long before one of its chocolate bars gets to the shelves it undergoes all kinds of changes. In fact Cadbury has testing laboratories where it produces different variations of the idea and tests them out through dedicated tasting panels.
