Think Like a Wave Maker

Before we look at how to start your wave, let’s consider how you think about it. When I began writing this book, this chapter wasn’t even in my outline. But after I studied how individuals start successful changes, I concluded that it wasn’t just about their actions but about the way they think. I added this chapter when I heard story after story from those who began successful changes and noted their optimism, bias to action, persistence, and adaptability in reaching their goals. Yes, they made smart decisions in how they began and built momentum, but their thoughts powered them from the very beginning.
