Applying Wigs

For the wig to look ‘natural’ the hair underneath must be as flat as possible. If the artist’s hair is short it need only be flattened with water or gel. If it is long it needs to be flattened by wrapping the hair flat to the head and securing with grips, or set and held in large flat pincurls.

Points to remember:

image  crossed pincurls on the crown of the head underneath the wig will give points for securing the wig to the head with large hairpins;
