Script Breakdown

The first thing staff should receive is the script. Having read it, it is surprising how much more there is to be aware of or to plan for.

1.   It is important to list all artists, extras and any other special requirements scene by scene. It may be that some artists never appear together and this will affect how many staff are required for the whole production. It is better for all if staff, make-up staff in particular, always look after the same artists. This is mainly for continuity purposes, but also for building up a good working relationship.
