Location Work

Any work away from what is considered the production’s base is categorized as location work. Extra time and expense should be considered and allowed for staff travelling. However, freelance personnel consider their home as base, and so this would not necessarily apply; they would simply be told where the location is. Either way, extra time has to be allowed to find the location and to set up and prepare for work before artists arrive. The make-up, hair and costume personnel may be the first at the location and may have to find their own way to whatever facilities are available.
