The Yost Compact Bench Vise features 4" jaws that open 2 ¼" wide, a swivel base with 360-degree range, and a flat anvil spot behind the jaws for pounding on. It’s a small bench vise that’s a good fit for small jobs, and its compact footprint makes it a good match for smaller workspaces.
The small vise pairs well with Dremel-sized projects. But despite its cozy size, the vise feels strong and solid. The jaws open smoothly and tighten squarely, and the vise turns well and locks easily on its swivel base. I trusted it to hold work against a 23,000-RPM rotary tool, and it did the job beautifully.
