jQuery is a very popular JavaScript framework among the developers with a small footprint. DOM Programming does bring in its challenges while handling the browser-specific quirks. JQuery provides quite a few utilities to help working in a browser agnostic environment. jQuery has a wide variety of plugins. If we can add jQuery in Magento, we can also use some cool jQuery plugins as well.
