Introduction

Components are composed of two elements: a movie clip and parameters, allowing you to modify the components appearance and behavior. Components run the gamut from a radio button to a scroll pane. Components equalize the designer’s playing field: enabling anyone to build complex applications, even if they do not have a complete understanding of the ActionScript language.
