This has been quite the trip and it started over hamburgers in Toronto when Mike Downey, the Flash Product Manager, showed a couple of us a pre-alpha version of Flash 8. Since then, Mike and his crew have helped me pull this book together with a bit of gentle prodding and guidance along the way.
