Chapter 11. Using Dynamic Data

When data in a Macromedia Flash movie is constantly changing or updating, it is said to be dynamic. In Flash Professional 8, there are a number of ways to incorporate dynamic data into your movie. In fact, you have already used dynamic data in a previous lesson when you created a slide show that loaded the images into Flash using loadVars at runtime. However, there are a number of other methods that use dynamic data in Flash that provide you with a lot of control over what information is contained in the final SWF file and what the user views or reads when the movie is playing in a browser.
