Chapter 21. Motion Tweening

Motion tweening is probably the more widely used type of animation in Flash. It's used for everything from animated menus to animated characters. In this chapter, we'll review motion tween steps and settings, and Motion Guides besides.

First though, we need to remember that whenever we talk about a “tween,” we're talking about Flash doing most of the work for us. We specify what something should look like in the beginning of the animation, and what it should look like at the end, and Flash draws the in-between steps for us.
