Accessing Files Outside a Dreamweaver Site on Your Computer

The Files panel can be used to access and work with files that are located outside of your site’s root folder. At times, you might need to access files such as source files for graphics or page layouts that are not usually included in root folders.

1.
Select Computer (Macintosh) or Desktop (Windows) from the Show menu on the Files panel. Arrows (Macintosh) or plus/minus icons (Windows) allow you to expand or collapse the various drives and folders that can be accessible through your computer.
