Macromedia Contribute is all about making it easier to edit the content of Web pages, and the program provides a wide selection of tools to help you create and style your content. Most of these tools will be familiar to you, as they work in ways that are reminiscent of other tools you use, such as word processors. That’s no accident: Macromedia made the editing experience as familiar as possible so that users with little or no experience building Web pages could get started quickly with Contribute.
