I discuss a lot of cool stuff throughout this book. Things like cutting tools and cast iron, computerized machine tools, friendly robots that work alongside humans, and what it’s like to machine parts for a living. At least some of these topics have little to do with the actual mechanics of metal cutting, but rather discuss ways to make machining processes more efficient (and enjoyable).
