Three-Finger Gestures

Here’s a list of the three-finger gestures you can use on the MacBook Air trackpad:

bullet.tif Opening Mission Control. Place three fingers on the trackpad and swipe up. Swipe down with three fingers to close Mission Control.

bullet.tif Looking up a word in the Dictionary. Select the word (double-tap it), and then double-tap the trackpad using three fingers.

bullet.tif Dragging with three fingers. Move the mouse pointer over an object, place three fingers on the trackpad, and then slide all three fingers at once to move the object.

Three-finger dragging is turned off by default. To turn it on, open System Preferences, click Trackpad, click Point & Click, and then select the Three finger drag check box.
