One-Finger Gestures
Here’s a list of the one-finger gestures supported by the MacBook Air trackpad:
Pointing. Slide a finger along the trackpad to move the mouse pointer.
Tapping. Move the mouse pointer over an object and then lightly touch the trackpad.
Clicking. Move the mouse pointer over an object and then press the trackpad.
In most cases, there’s not much difference between tapping and clicking, because both are used to select objects, toggle check boxes and option buttons, choose dialog command buttons, and so on.
