IMPORTING YOUR APPLE LOOPS INTO GARAGEBAND

In order to make our Apple Loop available to GarageBand, we have to import it. We can just drag the file into GarageBand's Loop Browser window to import it and index it. However, GarageBand indexes the file at its current location on your hard drive under its current name, neither of which is desirable.

Let's rename our file and put it someplace where we can find it again.

Apple's Apple Loops are stored in the Library/Application Support/GarageBand/Apple Loops directory in a folder titled Apple Loops for Garage Band.
