MOVING SONGS TO YOUR IPOD
Transferring songs to your iPod can happen in one of two ways. If you use the default iTunes and iPod settings, then your iPod is set to automatically synchronize files with iTunes every time you connect your iPod.
Using the default settings, all you need to do is plug your iPod in and let iTunes do the work. When the synchronization is complete, your songs will be on your iPod. They will be listed just as they were in the iTunes browser.
However, if you have your iPod set for manual updating, then you must drag the songs from your library or playlist to the iPod icon in your Source list.
