CHOOSING MASTER TRACK EFFECTS
You learned to adjust the volume curve of the master track to create a fade-out back in Chapter 2, “Making Music with Apple Loops,” but that only scratched the surface of what the master track can do for a song.
The master track controls several things for the overall song:
The key, tempo, and time signature of the song
The overall volume of the song at any point
The type of echo and reverb effect applied to a song
The amount of compression and equalization effect applied to the entire song
An additional selectable effect which can be applied to the overall song
