RECORDING YOUR PERFORMANCE

Time to get down to recording some tracks. Now that you've got your guitar hooked up and you've tried a couple of GarageBand's guitar Real Instrument settings, let's record.

RECORDING A BASIC GUITAR TRACK

If you are happy with the Track settings from the previous section, go ahead and use those settings.

Otherwise, click Track Info and then select Guitars and Classic Rock. Next, set Format to Stereo and Monitor to On, as shown previously in Figure 4.3. Then close the window to accept these basic settings.

To record a track

Play your guitar just to make sure you've still got audio happening.
