CREATING A DANCE SONG

Building a song is a creative process. Thanks to GarageBand, you get to decide how many tracks you want, what the tracks are, and every other detail.

So far in this chapter, we have been building a country/southern rock song as an example. You can take what you've learned so far and add more tracks to the song to finish it off. How complex the song gets will depend on your needs. For instance, a simple two-track song will be fine for background music for a home video or a piece of multimedia software, even a Web site. But if you want to play the song as a standalone tune to enjoy, you will probably want to add a whole lot more.
